      At a glance:

      • Protected from exposure: Your photo sits neatly sandwiched between solid acrylic panels.
      • Portrait or landscape: Rotate to suit your space.
      • Double-sided display: Use a two-sided print for back-to-back images.
      • Two closure styles: Smaller sizes use a hinged opening with 1 embedded magnet + invisible hinge tape. Larger sizes use 4 embedded magnets.
      • Two thicknesses: Smaller sizes are 20mm thick (two 10mm panels). Larger sizes are 30mm thick (two 15mm panels) for a more stable display.

      How acrylic photo blocks work

Each block holds your print between two clear acrylic panels to create a crisp, frameless finish with extra depth. The result is a clean display that keeps the focus on your photo and works in almost any room.

Small sizes (4x6, 5x7, 3.5x5, 2.5x3.5 and similar) use a discreet hinged opening with one tiny embedded magnet and invisible hinge tape. It opens smoothly, closes neatly, and keeps the front looking minimal.

Larger sizes (6x8, 8x10 and A4) use four embedded magnets and thicker acrylic for a more substantial, stable display.

      Choosing the right size

      • Small prints: Great for desks, bedside tables, kids’ photos and small shelves.
      • Everyday favourites: Perfect for family photos and travel snaps.
      • Feature photos: Larger sizes use thicker acrylic and 4 magnets for a more confident, self-standing display.

      Where they look great

These blocks are ideal for shelves, consoles, desks and reception counters. They also work well for table numbers, place cards, small signs and visual merchandising displays.

These modern, frameless acrylic block frames (sometimes referred to as Perspex photo frames) can be displayed in portrait or landscape and can also take double-sided prints.

FAQs - Clear Acrylic Photo Blocks

Acrylic photo blocks are free-standing, frameless display frames for photos, prints and small signs. They’re popular for desks, shelves, reception counters, table numbers, place cards, menus and visual merchandising because they look clean and are easy to update.

Pretty much. “Perspex” is often used as a generic name for clear acrylic. Many shoppers search “Perspex photo frames” when they mean acrylic photo blocks.

Open or separate the acrylic panels, place your print inside, then close it so the panels align again. Smaller sizes open on a hinge; larger sizes use magnets to pull the panels back into place.

Yes. Acrylic photo blocks are designed to stand in either orientation, so you can rotate the block to suit your print and space.

Yes. You can display two prints back-to-back, or use a double-sided print for a two-in-one display.

It depends on size. Smaller blocks are typically 20mm thick (two 10mm panels). Larger sizes (like 6x8, 8x10 and A4) are 30mm thick (two 15mm panels) for extra stability.

Use a soft microfibre cloth. For marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water (or a gentle plastic-safe cleaner). Avoid paper towel and harsh cleaners, which can create fine scratches over time.

A simple rule: small sizes for desks and bedside tables, mid sizes (4x6, 5x7) for everyday family photos, and larger sizes (6x8, 8x10, A4) as feature pieces. Mixed-size sets are an easy way to get that “styled” look without overthinking it.

Yes. They’re commonly used for reception signage, menus, table numbers, product callouts and informational displays because they’re neat, free-standing and easy to swap.
